About Me
I'm Nimra Khan, an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) dedicated to helping people of all ages overcome communication challenges. I'm fluent in English and Urdu and have an understanding of Japanese and Korean sound systems.
I started my career in the ABA field, working with children 18months and older on the Autism Spectrum. From there, I have had the privilege to work with adults of all ages as well, in hospitals, long-term care, in-home, and in the virtual setting to address various concerns.
I'm passionate about evidence-based service; that's therapy and assessment that has strong clinical or research support, alongside making sure it fits each individual's life. I believe speech therapy should challenge you in positive ways. Whether you need to see improvement at home, school, or work, therapy works the best when it fits you as an individual.
My ultimate goal is to empower individuals to communicate effectively and confidently in a supportive and welcoming environment.
